Anybody but Bush

As far as I'm concerned, the AFL-CIO's support of John Kerry doesn't make much sense. [more discussion of the endorsement here] I don't necessarily agree with Ann Coulter's combative approach to politics but she makes some good points here.

Hmm...Unions have always endorsed Democrats. But to be against free trade is a short-sighted point of view. George Washington said in his farewell address that trade with other nations is in our interests. From that point of view, PNTR with PRC is a good thing too.

That's true. I'm not sure that Globalism is owned by any one party - but to keep endorsing the same party when year after year you don't really have anything to show for it, just doesn't make any sense to me.
