As I've said before, this blog isn't "fair and balanced", or at least it isn't balanced. I try to be fair. Most of the time (there have been a few exceptions) instead of just throwing out accusations against John Kerry or any other opponent of George W. Bush, I try to at least make a logical case. Whenever possible I link to references and mention established facts that prove the point.
Unfortunately, I've noticed a lot of John Kerry supporting blogs that love to just throw out statements like, "Bush is a big fat liar and 'the people' all know how dishonest he is." I don't mind reading other points of view, but that kind of thing is just tiresome. I've decided that life is just too short to keep visiting those blogs.
Of course, those people have every right to post their opinion but that doesn't mean I have to read it. Regardless of whether it's on the right or the left, those types of posts are an insult to their reader's intelligence. Even if you don't agree with me, I hope to provide thought-provoking content that explores the issues instead of just casting stones. Any idiot can do that.

I'm a liberal, and I have a liberal blog, but I also enjoy Andrew Sullivan, Christopher Hitchens, and even David Horowitz (sometimes). A political system with only extreme left and right wings is like a building without a base, or cookie dough with a lot of cookie but no dough. Eventually, that cookie will crumble.
Keep up the good work -
