Word Spy

I used to sleep with a dictionary under my bed. As an adult, I collect old dictionaries. Yes - it's kind of a nerdy thing to do, but I like words. That's also why I enjoy Word Spy.

Some recent words relating to politics:
RINO - It stands for Republican In Name Only.
Lexus Liberal - Someone who claims to champion the cause of the poor but enjoy their luxurious lifestyle. (John Kerry?)
Theocon - Someone who believes that theology should play a major role in public life.
SUV Democrat - Someone who talks about conservation but drives an SUV.
