Some things that I've been wondering about that aren't real politically correct...
-Every time I hear the word "Beheaded" I wonder, "Why don't they say deheaded instead?"
-How is OJ's search for the "real" killer going?
-When are Hillary and Bill going to write a book together about, "keeping marriage alive for political convenience"?
-When is Andy Rooney going to die, or at least retire?
-If Al-Jazeera is really broadcasting lies designed to inflame the population of Iraq and thereby cost American lives, why isn't it okay to destroy their broadcast facilities?
-When is John Kerry going to be prosecuted for the war crimes in which he says he participated in Vietnam?
-Why is Tom Clancy still popular? He hasn't really written anything interesting in years and I've always thought he was a sort of military "poser". (In other words, he liked to pretend he was some kind of brave soldier instead of a nerdy wannabe novelist.)
-Why are George HW Bush and Bill Clinton acting so chummy?
If you want to take a shot at any of these questions, feel free...
Ok,
I'll give it a shot...
Why not deadhead...?
O.J. found the killer...he looked in the mirror, therefore no need to search any longer.
They have, they just found a way to publish two books and make twice as much money with the same notes.
Andy is dead already...at least in the head.
Destroying Al-Jazeera is not worth the time. Most of the other Arab press says the same thing...all lies.
Kerry is being prosecuted right now.... the problem is he is dragging the whole country through the trial. The jury will decide on Nov 4th.
Tom is a definitely a wannabe warrior. He thinks he can spend a day with us and be one. If you notice he spends most of his time with the Generals. The rest of us can see through his crap.
The old southern tradition is kill them with your charm. Remember...it's always better to keep your enemies close to know what they are doing. Do not worry G.W. is probable still washing his hands right now to get the slime off. You know his Dad is!!!
No more shots..I've had enough for a while. Time to relax with a little Jack, reflect, and remember my Comrades.

As far as Rooney goes, I don't wish him dead, but he should have been sent out to pasture many years ago.A man has got to know when he crosses the line from curmudgeon to doddering old fool.
When is Kerry gonna be prosecuted for war crimes...probably about the same time he lets out with the names of all those foreign leaders who told him he must beat Bush at all cost.
Clancy lost it a number of books back. Probably about the time he went through his divorce. Sad thing is I was able to *chat* with him a couple of times. That was about 10 - 11 years ago. He is not the same man he was back then.
Bush '41 hanging with Clinton....hey it gets him outta the house from Barbra for a quick brew and game of darts. And who knows, perhaps he is mentoring the Clinton fella on how to behave as a former president.
Posted by: Guy S. at May 31, 2004 09:43 PMClancy wrote 'Every Man a Tiger' because the heroism of real Gulf War vets was rather more amazing than fiction.
Also Clancy makes big bucks licensing video games. His 'Rainbow Six' and 'Splinter Cell' series are top sellers, and damned entertaining.
Posted by: Michael Bowen at June 1, 2004 01:50 PMJust a few moments ago, I learned a new Clancy book has been published. Has anybody read it yet? If so, any comments?
Posted by: Sarah at June 3, 2004 12:48 PMThe reviews for it over at Amazon.com are really bad. I read a clancy book put out a few years ago on Special Forces. Basically it was a rehash of other Clancy material and looks to have been written for no other reason than to stir the pot for Clancy and ingratiate himself with the General that "co-wrote" it.
I never thought his more famous books like Red October were necessarily well written, but the plot and research were good enough to save the writing quality.
