The Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) co-sponsored the March for Women's Lives in Washington DC on April 25th. The march was intended to draw attention to reproductive rights. In other words, it was a march to support and promote abortion. (See Why We March)
The PCUSA wasn't the only "proud" sponsor. There were many others...

The National Organization for Women
The Communist Party USA

However, don't go to the PCUSA website expecting to find any reference to their sponsorship of this march. That information seems to be missing.
If you are a member of a PCUSA church and you consider yourself pro-life, you might want to share your feelings about this with your elders and pastor. In fact, if you are a member and give money to a PCUSA church, maybe you even helped sponsor this event!

I would like to add that substantial numbers of those who are members of PCUSA churches are against abortion and yet the PCUSA feels free to support it anyway. Also, the denomination supports abortion but isn't exactly open with it's membership about that support.

I suppose you're one of those people who thinks it's okay for women to have abortions. Well, you're entitled to your opinion but it's not one that I share...but you knew that too. Go back to your liberal weblogs, there's nothing for you here.

This is absolutely amazing and disturbing JD. Although not a member of the PC, I do know quite a few. In fact the locla PC Pastor is in the same Kiwanis Club that I am in. I might have to ask him about this.

Please ask him about it. It would be interesting to see what he says. Many pastors and members of PCUSA congregations aren't aware of this kind of thing. They should really be aware of what the denomination headquarters is doing with their money.
