There's a show on Fox News tonight about the danger reporters face out in the field. It's called, Assignment Danger. There's a lot of great footage from both Afghanistan and Iraq.
According to the story, 36 journalists died in 2003 while doing their jobs. Still, I can't help but wondering, how can I get a job doing that?

Posted by: Chris at July 12, 2004 11:21 AMToo bad I missed this, I would have been interested in viewing it. Does anybody know if they will show it again? I would definitely like to check this out.
Posted by: Skuf at July 14, 2004 10:23 AMIt was somewhat interesting. I was surprised by some of the statements by oh I think his name was Steve ???. Just seemed like he wasn't really cut out for that kind of assignment. Thought the female reporter in Israel (Jennifer?) was very interesting. Oh and the Major reporter I like some of the things he said. Ok, after going thru all of this it was very interesting and I do give these guys kudos for getting off their butts and going out where it's difficult to be. :-))
Posted by: Toni at July 14, 2004 11:38 AMFox usually rebroadcasts specials like this a few weeks after the initial broadcast. Keep an eye out for it and you'll have a chance to watch it again.
Usually these types of shows consist of journalists trying to prove how cool they are, but this one was particularly well done.

Thanks for the information on the rebroadcasting. I don't watch too much TV, so I would have never known that. I'll make sure to look out for it in a few weeks, hopefully I'll spot it in the TV guide or something and not forget to watch it. Man, I wish there was a way to stream it from the internet.
