Oil Money

It's about time this happened. It's insane that the US would even consider giving financial aid to a country with one-fourth of the world's proven oil reserves.

When gasoline gets down under a buck a gallon then let's talk. In the meantime, the gravy train should be over.

hmmm I don't exactly understand why we'd be giving foreign aid funds to the Saudis anyway. I like the reason stated in the article for not giving them funds - "the country has not been sufficiently cooperative in the U.S. war on terror". They still have not even located the body of Paul Johnson, that I am aware of... this is obscene.

Do a basic google for "saudi arabia" debt and you will be surprised at some of the results. The Saudi's have some troubles.
